Further along with the cherry blossom painting. Sadly the flowers are now spent so I’m going off of memory. I need to remember to take photos of the actual still life!

It looks different now, but here it is anyway. Spring can’t come soon enough.
I’m also working on a more abstract larger piece. I’m not sure how I feel about it yet and I’m not sure where its going. Its nice working on a larger canvas and in a  more abstract way. There are times when I feel stuck in my head and painting in this way helps get the juices flowing. It has its own challenges but its nice to let the painting guide you.
