web design
leahjesse.com – A personal website for my blog, and portfolio. The aim was to create a graphically clean website that highlights my artwork. Sketches from my sketchbook are scattered throughout the site.
upliftingarts.com – Truly an unending work in progress Uplifting Arts has had many faces. Up until 2008, Uplifting Arts has been a shop where I sold products that mostly I’ve handcrafted myself. The website started in 2001 and has had a major overhaul at least once a year since then.
theswitchboards.com/forum – Created to bring together women owned small creative businesses. The forum a part of The switchboards was upgraded in 2007 to support the growing administrative needs. I originally built the first forum using phpbb in 2004. By 2007 the group had outgrown its little forum. The new forum was built using invision power board. The graphic design played off the namesake’s 30’s era with a modern twist.
sashahom.com – Was created for a writer, a mom, and a dear friend. Sasha wanted a web presence where she could publish information about on going projects, and events. She also wanted a place to journal/write. Navigation was important from a visitor standpoint and ease of use was important for a busy mom. The website was done entirely in wordpress.
